It's all sugar, salt and vinegar. Probably forever, but I haven't tested that theory. It gets eaten so fast.
Make it - trust me, you won't be disappointed.
(the secret is letting it come to the boil with the mango in it)

Hi Oli and Nicki
I am really trying to get info. on the parents' flight home but you are not online with Skype at the moment. As I am preparing this birthday feast for tomorrow I want to make sure that I am not alone in Holt Place! Which brings me to my master creation for pud. When I ordered the lamb for tomorrow I noticed the butcher had a basket of quinces on the counter so I have made an open lattice apple and quince pie. I think the last time I made it was when the parents were newly married and came to Bolney for dinner! But then all the ingredients were to hand from the garden so - cheap! I have embellished this one with almond paste within and almonds scattered on the top.
If they don't like it I shall bring it home!
Luv Em

Hi Nix
Cannot understand why no one has commented so far on what you are doing. Thorny devils are wonderful - even if they were behind the door when the looks were handed out! And trog traps? What are those? It is good just to see photos of the sun on the blog. We have seen precious little this summer. The barbie for NT volunteers was postponed from last month until next Tuesday but unless it dries up a bit it is going to be a pretty muddy evening at Kingston Lacy. I have to return to getting an audio recording off for my Spanish course.
¡Hasta luego chica!

Hi Guys - some smashing pictures in this Blog and the one before. You look to be a bit over-dressed in your hard working day off pic - are you feeling the cold ?

I hope there aren't any Crocs where Jason is cooling off ! Not good for the CV to lose a colleague on a field trip.

Pigs look cute - I've no doubt they'll get lots of TLC - when you are there of course.

It was good to speak with you yesterday - we'll catch up with you soon.

Love to you both.
